{Thanks, Harry. ;D Some guy on the SM message boards made it, and I just asked for permission to use it. He makes pretty awesome sigs... btw, I saw a Harry/NG sig that someone made that I think you might like. I'll see if I can post it in the "sigs" thread here later } Peter fell to one knee as he heard Harry get slammed aside into the roof... probably by Venom. Peter clenched his teeth in anguish and dug his finger tips into the thick entangled webbing. He pulled it apart with angered might and it finally streched to it's breaking point and snapped apart, cutting no slack on Peter's face by leaving small bruises. He quickly looked around and assessed the situiation: Harry was down, and so was his mobility (i.e. sky stick)... and Venom... was gone... Where'd he go? ...Peter wondered in a panic. Eddie was a smart guy. He wouldn't use the same trick twice... and he sure as heck learned fast. After his success with blinding Spiderman, there was no doubt he was encouraged and motivated to take Peter down using some other underhanded moves... Peter quickly glanced at Harry, who was still hunched over on the ground, coughing and breathing hard as though he had just barely been saved from drowning. He wasn't the one that Venom wanted... Peter knew Eddie would go after him any chance he got. This would be the opportunity for Venom to show that. Peter jumped off the ledge once more, still intent on taking any combat outside of the city. He may not have his friend alongside him yet, but Harry had a knack for coming just in the knick of time. Peter thwiped a webb line, honestly hoping that it would not be his last....

Harry slowly raised himself off the roof, cautiously testing the strength of his mid-section. He applied pressure to the muscle that took the brunt of Venom’s hit and though he didn’t feel any problem, Harry’s diaphragm contracted slightly to the gesture. He drew a sharp intake of breath and grimaced at the tension, but still tried to look at the bright side of the situation, at least my ribs didn’t break.
Shifting his focus back to the battle, Harry scanned the surrounding area, trying to locate not only Peter’s current whereabouts, but also…and perhaps most importantly…Venom’s. He spotted Peter a short distance away, web-slinging in the direction of a less populated region. There he goes…still concerned about people he doesn’t even know. Harry allowed himself a small smile.
But…where’s Venom? Harry spun in a tight circle, using the goggles’ life-signs detector to sweep the nearby rooftops. The feedback gave him nothing…not a hint of Venom’s location. Deciding to test another one of Vlad’s slight adjustments, Harry switched the goggles over to the mode that would enable him to see through solid walls, hoping that would yield better results.
Using this ‘see through mode’, Harry was transported into a world magnified from normal vision. The green images blurred, bleeding into one another as the forefront seemed to melt away, revealing signals that were previously hidden from him. The background sharpened then, becoming clearer while the newly unveiled life-signs remained hazy, as if he were trying to view the beings through water.
Despite the images being muffled as they were, Harry was able to identify the readings he was receiving. The creatures were small…too small for a person…and were all scampering around on sets of four, rather short legs. Rats.
Picking another building, Harry tried again. He sighed in frustration as he received the same feedback. Venom was nowhere to be found…though the selection of other vermin was plentiful.

OoC: You guys need a villain ^^ a 10 year old evil murderous Kasana should do lol
BIC:
A small human appeared on the screen, walking among the rats; she looked no older then 10 as she suddenly dissapeared on the screen, walking amongst the shadows. She'd been watching the fight, the young girl looked around; 3 bone claws sliding out, she walked up behind Harry silently; sending her claws flying at his tailbone, hoping to stab him. Her voice was young as well, her entire appearance had changed.
"Thought you might like some assistance Eddie!"
She said loudly, hoping Eddie would reveal himself as she shifted her form into that of her true 24 year old self; canines had grown once more, sending a foot flying at the back of Harry's head.

{{Thanks for coming in Kasana! We really did need a new villian }} A blur moved near the outer edge of the goggles vision. It was taller than the readings Harry was receiving for the rats…and held the distinct physical markings of a person…though a small person. He glimpsed long, flowing hair and a thin, petite frame…the build of a little girl. Heart fluttering, Harry was seized by a rush of panic for the girl’s safety. He began to move in her direction, thinking to take her far away from this battle scene and far from any form of danger. Just as suddenly as she appeared however, the girl vanished from the goggles range. He halted, doing a double-take of the area he had viewed her in but seeing nothing equal to her size in the feedback. Underneath his mask, Harry’s face twisted in utter confusion as he looked for any signs of the child he knew he’d just seen. Pain erupted in his lower back, sending piercing waves throughout his body. Harry cried out as whatever it was within him twisted slightly, scraping against bone as it withdrew, leaving rivers of hellfire coursing up and down his spine. Before he could react, a lead weight struck his head, hitting just above the reach of his half-face mask. Harry didn’t remember falling forward…or his collision with the cold and unyielding, concrete roof. When he opened his eyes again, a cloudy haze hung over his vision, making it hard to focus on anything. He was lying on his stomach; arms slightly above his head which was pounding like a drum. Though having failed to alert him before…his acute hearing was now—possibly being fueled by his pain—practically screaming a warning out to him…telling him that someone was approaching. Harry stayed still, playing opossum to his attacker—whom he assumed was Venom, for who else could it be? He waited…listening to the footfalls as they drew closer, forcing himself to be patient and breathe normally as the enemy slowly—arrogantly—made his way over to what appeared to be a still passed-out Harry. Finally…after what seemed like an eternity, whomever it was coming up behind him was within range. With a small smirk, Harry flipped himself over—ignoring the burning in his back—and with a flick of an arm muscle, released his fearsome arm-blades. The three blades sprouted and he sliced at his foe, hopping to catch him unawares. Even while his arm was in motion…Harry knew something was terribly wrong. It was not Venom who was before him…but the woman who had been partnered with Venom the night before…the werewolf.

She winced, her arms sliced open from the blades; she shifted into her 10 year old form again, running under his legs as she sent her claws at his legs; hoping to slice open the back of his knee. She winced, the wounds sealed but still stung like hell, aiming her foot at his shins.

Harry felt a tinge of gratification as his blades made contact with her flesh, cutting the white skin and leaving streaks of dark crimson behind. His sudden movement however, reopened Harry’s own wound. Fresh blood seeped out of the claw marks on his back, causing it to feel warm and wet. Eye for an eye, sweetheart.
Quite suddenly and without preamble, the full-grown woman was gone…replaced by…what!? Harry gasped, for the little girl he’d seen just moments ago—the one in which he’d been so concerned for the safety of—was the very same that now stood before him, with blood on her arms and tips of her nails—claws. As he continued to stare at this perplexity, Harry couldn’t help but notice the child’s striking similarity to the little girl who’d approached him the night before…the girl who’d accused him of harming a woman, and then had gotten shot herself before running off into the night.
Similar by butt…she’s the same girl! The girl from last night…and the girl from a second ago…are the same and…she’s also this…human-wolf hybrid. Harry shook his head, scarcely believing what his eyes were telling him. If this girl—woman—had the powers that she’d already displayed, who knew what else she was capable of? As if in response to his unspoken question, the gashes upon her arms healed over as if the cuts had never even existed.
Fear wasn’t the exactly emotion he’d classify himself feeling at the moment, but as he gazed upon her enraged, animalistic eyes and elongated teeth…not to mention her claws…Harry had to admit, he was intimidated. Despite swearing himself to an oath of becoming a hero, the scale of his fight or flight instincts was tipping to the side of flight. He was already wounded and he had no idea what else this werewolf had up her sleeve. If he could only have some time to recover and possibly learn more about what she was, Harry believed he would be much more prepared the next time they met. Live today, fight tomorrow, he reasoned.
Just as he came to this conclusion, she charged and ducked under his nearly six-foot-frame. Harry had no idea what she was up to now, but he refused to allow her to get the jump on him again. Using his quick reflexes, Harry spun swinging his right foot up and kicked hard…hoping to send her flying far away from his general location. At the same time, he touched the control that would signal his glider over him, his intent on at least getting into the air where he might have an advantage…or perhaps more appealing, finding Peter and getting the heck out of Dodge.

Finally... Peter thought. He had at last reached the edge of town. No longer swinging through a sea of skyscrapers, but through trees... and they were thinning. He let go of his last webline, seeing that the next tree was not close or tall enough for him to go on, and he landed with a tumble.
Peter quickly stood up and spun around. He held a fighting stance as his eyes shot around the sky... for any signs of that menace. No doubt he was scared and intimidated. Venom could be anywhere. Peter just has to be ready for anything. But it always seemed that no matter how prepared he would think he was, Venom could always find some way around it...
...and just then... Peter's glance left the night sky right when he realized where he was. Gravestones surrounded him... as well as an eerie mist that you'd only expect to see in horror films. He let his guard down as he stared at a nearby tree. It'd been awhile since he had seen the old oak.
Though it was probably better to hold some caution when an enemy was hot on your tail, it'd been quite a few moments... and by now, Venom would have his hands around Peter's neck (or at least he'd like to). Peter sluggishly walked over to the gravestone beside the oak tree. He hung his head low in embarrassment. What kind of person visits a deceased loved one wearing tattered lycra and in the heat of battle? Peter silently gave an apology as he stood in front of his Uncle Ben's grave.

{OOC: Sry bout that}
A web-line suddenly shot up to Harry's sky-stick, Venom was now intent on making Harry suffer the easiest way possible... attacking his friends and loved ones. With a sudden yank on the already slightly-damaged sky-stick, he saw it go flying and tumbling to the ground once again, unaware of where Harry was now at.
He began to look around for Kasana, "We are thankful... kill this one and we shall hurt Spider-man. We will be the one to end the spider's life, now let us all three enjoy this one." Venom only knew a few methods of attacking Peter in such a way, and his main method would be of infecting Harry with another parasite... a child of his in an aspect, and then slowly allow the parasite to take over, turning ally into enemy.
Venom lunged into the night-time sky, landing on a tree and glancing down to Peter below, suddenly flipping upside down and zipping himself down behind Peter. "We've been looking for you..." Suddenly he lowered one hand rapidly and zipped a line onto the head-stone and then yanked it towards Peter, essentially turning his uncles headstone into a heavy and powerful projectile.

Peter quickly turned around as soon as he heard Venom's haunting voice(s), but only had time to just barely duck down and have only his right shoulder clipped by the flying grave stone. It fell hard and went rolling into the field of head stones at a breakneck speed... plowing through the memorials of so many deceased individuals...
Peter stood up gritted his teeth angrily. He clenched his fists as he looked up and around for Venom... who ofcoarse, was gone.
Then all of a sudden, an unexpected (and practically leathal) uppercut sent him flying into the air. Venom had snuck around below him and delivered that critical hit. It had actually knocked him somewhat unconscious, and he fell to the ground a few feet away like a ragged doll.
A trickle of blood seeped out of the corner of his lips. His eyes were barely coming into focus as he watched that black figure walk toward him for a final beating...

Venom stood knelt down infront of him, his tongue lashing out before pulling back. "You didn't think it'd be that easy did you? I want to make you suffer little spider... maybe I should go pay a visit to that sweet old aunt May, or how about Mary Jane? I'm sure I can find something fun to with her."
He laughed, knowing such words would hit a nerve with the good old spider, there was no fun or enjoyment from letting him die so easily. He would kill everyone that he holds dear, make his pain grow stronger with each death, until finally he too wanted revenge. Heroes were far too easy to corrupt, take away everything they hold dear and suddenly they are no more merciful than those they stop, a thought that brought Venom much pleasure, his face soon becoming covered once again in the symbiote.

As Venom locked on to his Sky Stick and once again sent it careening out of the sky, Harry cursed behind his mask. Though the glider was amazingly strong and versatile, he frankly didn't know how much more of a beating it could take. He watched as it crashed a good 20 yards behind him, letting loose with a couple of rather loud coughs before dying with a shudder.
Turning his attention back to his adversaries, Harry looked wildly about, trying to grab a hint of their current location. The woman was nowhere to be seen and Venom...after appearing out of nowhere to help his ally...looked to have disappeared once more into the black night. Harry strained his senses, both biological and mechanical, to try to detect them but to no avail. Either they were out of range...or for whatever reason, his senses were getting weaker. He stayed silent for many tense moments, but when neither showed any sign of being near.
Deciding that the coast was clear...for the moment...Harry slowly made his way over to his fallen glider, hoping to be able to repair the damage. He knelt before it and turned it over so that the underside was exposed. He activated the button that would remove the face-plate, expecting to see the familiar sight of neatly arranged, brightly colored wires. The sight Harry was greeted too however, was anything but neat or arranged.
Harry let an exasperated sigh escape his lips as he ran his gloved hand through his hair. Oh...just great. Almost every single wire within the control panel was either jarred loose or broken. Small droplets of oil and other liquids made the inside electronics moist, unreliable and quite frankly, dangerous to mess around with. The Sky Stick was all but dead...and truthfully at this point, Harry had no idea why or how it even held any power at all.
But this thing's my only form of mobility. What? Am I supposed to run to my next destination? Harry snorted, Yeah...that'll work. Like it or not...he knew he had to find a way to salvage this glider for just one more run...because he still had to get to Peter.
Setting to work, Harry did his best to repair what servos and gyros he could, bypassing certain systems in order to provide more power to others. It wasn't pretty, but within a couple of minutes, he had the major operating systems wired up again.
Replacing the cover, Harry flipped the glider back onto its correct side and...with fingers crossed...kick started the ignition. Lights glowing and propellers spinning, the glider whined to life once more. Harry grinned in satisfaction and pride as he jumped aboard and steered the Sky Stick in the direction he'd seen Peter swinging off in.
He didn't know how much help the glider would be if another battle would indeed break out, for he'd had cannibalize so much of its systems in order to get it to fly once more. But Harry was determined to help if he could.

With the added anger towards Venom's threat, Peter was able to recover some much needed strength quicker than usual. He clenched his fists, and when Eddie's face was shadowed with the symbiote once more, Peter leapt up and swung an uppercut at Venom's jaw. He then performed a sideways back-flip that sent his two feet square against Venom's face... in which the other cheek was cushioned by a grave-stone.
Peter then began webbing manically at moderately-huge pieces of broken grave-stones, sending them flying straight at Venom. He was angry enough not to care that there was the (very) slim chance of Eddie being deathly harmed. Well with images of MJ and Aunt May being slaughtered by Venom in his mind... it was enough not to care about what might happen to Eddie...
